other than Aybar, the bullpen's been pretty solid since a tough start. Looper, Bell, Hernandez and even Koo aren't bad at all

still had 2 out with no runs in. he gave up the hit.

You're obviously not watching the game, or saying it to get under his skin

No fault to the pitcher there at all

Bad bad bad errors in this game

he also got Arod to pop out with runners on 2nd & 3rd after the Mets were sleeping on the double steal.

You're right Yanks probably win this one, but this is the 2nd game the Mets have blown with their defense, not the pen

guess i am imagining koo and hernandez giving up these hits

Changes whole mentality after plays like that
Of course they gave up hits, after they should have been riding the pine drinking some gatorade

this is what you were imagining:

Top 8TH B:3 S:2 O:1
Tony Womack reaches on fielding error by third baseman David Wright.

Top 8TH B:0 S:0 O:1
Offensive Substitution: Pinch hitter Ruben Sierra replaces Robinson Cano.

Top 8TH B:1 S:1 O:1
Ruben Sierra reaches on force attempt, missed catch error by shortstop Jose Reyes, assist to second baseman Miguel Cairo. Tony Womack to 2nd.

----------
that's a 123 inning with any kind of defense

The worst part is they were easy plays
should not have even been CLOSE to errors

Mets defense is VERY VERY bad.
Its year after year for them though

now show the 2 out single and double

OK, so in your opinion Hernandez should get Arod & Matsui out to end the inning. That's fine, I wish he did...but don't tell me he blew the game.

Mets defense let them down and Matsui & Bernie got clutch hits, end of story

yes, he did blow the game. best case scenario was 3-1... worst case should have been 3-3.
