I watch lots of good players and occassionally see one that looks like the game is something more than just a paycheck --but not too often and not on a regular basis. I guess I'm thing about Pete Rose and how he played day in and day out.
Rare to see today!

Look at the lower paying sports such as WNBA. They show some heart yet.

Peyton Manning has as much passion to win as anyone IMO, but since he got big money some may disagree.

Peyton Manning??? Hey, I realize he hasn't thrown 49 td's in a season, but some may argue that Tom Brady has that passion you are talking about.

Have to pass on the selections by Fish!

Why?

Obvioulsy you have never payed close attention to Dallas Clark very much, as he gives 110% on every play!

On the poker end, not many with much more passion then Phil, although many poker players certainly do bring tremendous passion to the table.

Dallas Clark--If this is the guy I'm thinking about he was a receiver for the 49ers or _I'm not sure. And yes he was passionate. But like Michael Jordan--he's been gone for awhile. I may have the wrong guy . The poker player---I have no idea.

Football players (Lewis and Farve--definately belong in the small circle of today's passionate players. We just don't see them but one day a week).
