I like to think my fellow posters, are decent people who would never take advantage of fellow posters by lying, cheating, scamming, stiffing each other...and so on.....

and i also would like to believe in the tooth-fairy, santa and the easter bunny...

i think its time for another refresher on the do's and dont's of doing business with someone you met on a sports forum.....just dont do it

1. never solicit credit over the internet
2. never solicit players over the internet
3. dont lend a fellow poster money..(if you do dont expect to be paid back)
4. dont divuldge information that you want kept private
5. use common sense and be careful

it seems another poster has been invovled in a scam.....

here he is known as Hatetherivercard.......elsewhere plasmaman...and other names i am sure.....

i posted at majorwager, that i consider my fellow posters as my posting friends...and i was taught that you never f*ck your friends.......but it seems like so many others dont adhere to that philosphy....

i enjoy posting...but this type of behavior takes the fun out of posting......

Patriot and I have had two bets (split) as well. Mind you, the wagers went to charity, but we each paid up in a timely fashion.

Cyberspace gives a place for low lifes, deadbeats, rats, stiffs, and every other low form to conduct their activities with out showing their face.

DPO's above advice should not even have to be given.

I have no opinion on HTRC. I am sure if untrue he can refute easily, but I agree with Dime fully on his overall intent of the post. Be careful. This is why TheRx is so against solicitation of posters. Alot of these kids are naive and Know NO better.
