Sure he will show up but when its 5 on 1 and half with Shaq being hurt you are asking a lot of a kid in his second year to beat the defending world champs. It took Jordan 3 tries to beat Detroit it will take Wade atleast one to do so.

People are people what can I say some people think Wade is the second coming. I think he is more Penny Hardaway in his prime then Jordan.

Thank you BTW

Wade said "But Not Tonight", and was feeling "Condemnation". When asked if he would struggle again, he said "Dream On", "Try Walking in My Shoes", I'm "Behind the Wheel" and Detroit will be staring into "The Barrrel of a Gun" and feel like a "Fly on the Windscreen". "It's no Good" to doubt me, he said. His teammates told him "Never Let me Down Again". At the end of the say, he will say "Told You So".

Wade has struggled against Detroit all season. That is what makes this matchup a difficult one for Miami. Larry Brown finds ways to make teams win with their 2nd and 3rd options. Look at how they have shut down Wade all season:

6-for-17 and fouled out with 17 points in a 78-77 Detroit win

12-for-18 with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists (triple double)...the only Miami win against Detroit this year in 4 games - Miami 89-78

1-for-6 5 points, 1 assist, and 4 TOs...fouling out in 21 minutes - Detroit 80-72

7-for-25 with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists - Detroit 90-81

-------

3 losses: 14-for-48 (12.7 ppg, 3.7 ast)

Playoffs averages: 10-for-20 (27.2 ppg, 7.9 ast)

-------

Needless to say it is Wade who is the key to this series, not Shaq.

Teyshawn Prince is the big reason why. That guy is so underrated it is sick. He is a walking mismatch everywhere on the court.

Prince is amazing...he can guard anyone on the floor. He kind of reminds me of Scottie Pippen defensively during the Bulls run. I would even go as far as to say he is a better defender than Pippen was.

It also helps having both Wallace's patrolling the paint. They play great team defense along with having incredible individual defenders.

My money's on Wade.

The real fun will begin vs Duncan & the Spurs.

Many matchups on the horizon to salivate over should the two heavyweights collide

oh by the way wades last dunk was not to pad his stats, it was an exclamation, a message to the pistons, "you can't stop me anymore"

this series will get real interesting in detroit

D2bets your post almost made my cry it was so beautiful....as for Wade its still way too early to call him anything close to Jordan. Detroit still has home court advantage in this series and I still see them taking this provided R. Wallace head is in the game.

there is no way miami loses this series. Detroit is losing in 6. Wade is just toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo confident right now. I was at the game last night, and wade knew it at the shoot around. He will be a different man this series.

Did you actually watch the game. I bet you didn't to make that statement. Detroit didn't even play their best until late in the 3rd quarter. If Wade can score like that in the 3rd and 4th game, then I will give him props. However, look for Detroit to lock him down and take this series 4-2.

Obviously no bms here, either you wanted to hug Wade or kill him for that f#ing dunk at the end. Personally would like to see him strung up, classless punk! Guess you know which sides we needed!:sad3:

What a clinic Wade put on last night, Shaq is playing with all heart, no where near 100%, I wouldnt count this team out just yet, if the Pacers can win at Detroit, for sure the Heat can, I think we are looking at a 7-game series...
