after a very lackluster week last week, took yesterday off, see if i can get back on track this week
NY Yanks -1 1/2 (-102) (2 units)...Really like the way Mussina has pitched in May, and he also gets the Tigers at the right time, while they aren't scoring runs. Not convinced that Mussina wll hold up all season lke this, but I'll take him while he's in a groove. Lefty Ledezma goes for the Tigers, and the Yanks have hit lefties well all year, and I think they get some runs tonight to open up their homestand.
NY Mets/Atlanta OVER 8 (2 units)..would be a bigger play if I didn't have to lay -127. Glavine's struggles vs. his former team has been well documented, but Hudson hasn't exactly been unhittable of late. Actually Glavine has pitched better than Hudson the past two weeks, but his struggles vs. the Braves has really gotta be in his mindset each time he faces them. Hopefully the bats stay hot for both squads tonight.
Milwaukee -137 (1 unit)...Francis is one of those "rare" pitchers who does well at Coors, but poorly elsewhere. Santos is looking like he's starting to regain last yrs.form (his record doesn't show thisno run support whatsoever). Neither team has hit much, but Mill impressed me by holding their own at Minnesota over the weekend, and came back home to win last last nights game vs these same Rockies, who have only won 3 games on the road all year.
