Reason: Brewers starter Victor Santos has been a tough luck loser in
several outings this season. As long as he stays the course, the wins
will come, starting on Tuesday night.
Despite holding a less than impressive 1-4 record, Santos sports a
respectable 3.20 ERA. At home he has been outstanding, posting a 2.31
ERA in three starts. The problem for him has been run support. The
Brewers have scored a combined four runs over his last three starts.
Santos has certainly done his part, allowing two earned runs or less in
six of his eight starts.
Rockies starter Jeff Francis has been a pleasant surprise, however most
of his success has come at home. In four road starts, Francis is just
1-1 with a lofty 5.82 ERA. He won't get much help from the Rockies pen,
as they sport an ERA of over six.
Colorado has been downright awful away from home this season. Expect
