she's pretty cool with it anyway....disliked it for awhile because when we first met i lost alot (not on sports, at the foxwoods) but since i only go to the casino on occasion now she's cool.....she enjoys it too!

If that happens either you likely have a problem with your gambling or you hid your gambling from your wife before getting married. Always best to be upfront and fully disclose what you do. I know too many people who didn't do that and they stun their wives now by just moderate amounts of gambling. One guy did dump his girlfriend of a number of years though, she complained time he spent gambling was stealing time from her. He went twice a week for 3 hours to play poker! That is the sort of thing you clear out by being upfront. If she can't handle a modest amount of time like that, you aren't going to last too long.

does give me crap about gambling, but she knows better to pull the that card out of the deck(the it's me or gambling). She has known me for ten years and i have been gambling since i was probably 10. I am very and i mean very honest with her.....whether im winning or losing. She knows that if she pulled that card she would lose and the honesty would stop. I dont have to gamble...i just enjoy it very much. Just like i would not want to give up fishing for my entire life. In my life i also have won far more than i have lost which is another reason that she has never played that card.

Most us us all lost early in our gambling careers. Its all about control and smart plays. I am just about even now in gambling for my lifetime but way up the last 5 years. Looking forward to the next 5 years. I have no wife and in general hide gambling from women unless they keep hanging around so much and it has to be discussed.
