No Love For Me!?

I hope no one takes this question the wrong way because it doesn't matter to me one way or the other, honestly......but why is it that I have one of the best records in here (based on how many Units I am up, number of wins and also the winning percentages on my 5* and 3* plays) and yet I can go literally weeks at a time without even so much as a single post/reply in my thread from another forum member?? And pretty much the # of views for my thread on any particular day is lucky to even reach 100+ from people, when normally that can be done in less than a couple hours for someone else with a similar record. Just don't get it or understand the reason thats all, not raging on any and all in here. I love to post and compare/compete with others and see where I measure up so I don't mind doing it for nothing in return. And so far I think I'm more than holding my own. My personal guess as to why is that the trust in me from you guys isn't quite there yet, either because you see how many (or few) posts I have total or maybe I'm just not as sociable in other peoples threads as are some. Anyways, whatever the reason is I'm hoping someone can tell me. Maybe it's something I'm doing or not doing that makes people hesitant towards me. And in that case a change on my part may be all that is needed.??? Thanks to all for your time wasted reading this and good luck on all of todays games.

Dude thats just the way it is around here! Iwent 6-2 +1200 last night and got 1 congrats! People just look and leave it seems like! Youre doing a great job and are one of the best! Tomorrows news,chop,j-man,alan palmer,ego,potter,and some others are also great but dont get much recognition as well! You have to be a mod or something I guess! Keep up the good work though I will be watching! Hey, atleast theres noone bashing you though

First of all I am going to respectfully disagree with your statement about how this doesnt really bother you. Obviously, it really does, otherwise you wouldn't waste your time and write that long post in a new thread. Listen, have you ever heard veteran cappers give advice to newbies? One of the most common things said is to "stick to a capper" and don't jump from one to another or take everyones plays. Bucsfan has established himself from the get-go and there is really no reason for any of us to be looking at everyone else's thread! If somethings not broke dont fix it ya know?? Don't take it personal man, great job on your season and this thread will help you get more looks but don't let your focus get shifted or get jealous because many of us here are having an outstanding baseball season.

I would suggest you putting your record in your title of your thread. Not to be loud, but to let people know. You might already do that, but I can't remember. I'm one of the 100 that read your thread and I appreciate your picks. It takes a little while to build a reputation and you're on the right track.

Try a title like: Saturday {record here}& {Units here}

The reason that I don't enter in and say, "GREAT JOB" is the last time I did that I jinxed you. But I will say, since you are asking: GREAT JOB and thanks for taking the time to post up the advice. Keep it up. tulsa

C-LO.....alright my friend thanks for being the first to respond. I hear what you're saying and totally agree. I think most in here just read/browse but don't really post a lot either way, win or lose for a particular capper. All those posters you mentioned are among the elite in here and if you notice almost all receive 200...300...600 views daily. Heck, Bucsfan got over 1,300 just on his thread from yesterday. Just wondering why I can't even get to 50 some days? :lolBIG: Anyways it's not important I just found it curious thats all. I appreciate the response and the best of luck to you for today. Yes, you put the record in and your units I see. Well, that helps a lot. By the way, a suggestion. Don't put the date in like 5/28 as at first glance it looks like a record to me! LOL! I would put Tuesday or Saturday and then the record. Just my opinion. Thanks again. tulsa

GAMEBREAKER.....please please I asked everyone to not take this the wrong way. I just wanted to see the responses and theories from others, plus I was kinda bored too. I don't care about the # of views or replys I get, really. I only care about posting more winners than losers and not embarrassing myself with a 1 for 10 day or something crappy like that. This was just something I noticed out of boredom and decided it would be fun to get some feedback on it thats all.

Another thing is we all go in streaks! Bucsfan gets alot also because hes a big wheel too! Hopefully he stays on year out but things change and he may not get 100 views by next month(highly doubt it though) but when youre hot you get looked at and when youre not you dont. It is alot in the title that people look at too! Post your record and just keep winning! Alan Palmer is one if not the best capper in all sports combined on here and he doesnt get recognition at all. Dont worry the good people will congratulate you! I think everyone thats posts should get a response from someone win or lose like a mod or something just to say thanks you know? It will never happen probably but it makes cappers feel more at home when they do! Good luck tonight~

Your title looks very confusing. I have to look at your title and read it closely to understand your record.

List your record the way me, Bucsfan or Ego list the records. Tulsa brought up a great point about the date in your title. It looks like part of your record. Insteed of 5-28-05 you should make it Thursday.

Da, I look at your thread everyday...

Sometimes I just dont have time to type anything as I am only here ashort period some days and just want to look...

Other times unless I can offer something useful or help I dont see the point in posting...

Dont let it bother you about how manypeople look at your thread, just keep doing what you do and people will look at you...
