Before game 1 it was a -135 for the heat.

This is a 2-2-1-1-1 format. Was the original line based on a assumption of a 2-0 start for the Heat (when i feel most BM's would have said a split was most probable). What are the odds the Pistons sweep the next 2 games, or will it go back to Miami 2-2. I think this will go back to Miami 2-2 just my opinion. At that point with a 2-1 home adv, odds would be better for Detroit betters, I see some value in Miami at this point. These series odds work in strange ways sometimes, yes the pistons have home court (now), I'll revisit here after games 3 and 4 and see how the odds have moved.

I never checked but out of curiosity does anyone know what the series odds were yesterday (before game 2), obviously more than -150 for Detroit, thanks.

Detroit took all the money because of Shaq and is status. They went from +150 to +120, 115 in some places. it is apparant that he is hurt and is no where near 100%, probly barely 70%.

Det stiole HC advantage as well. Also figuring that they now don't need to win on the road anymore makes the odds drop a lot more. So -150 is about right right now considering that the HC is worth just about that much.

The thing is that Pin at least has upped the ML on them slightly than they did on Mia. Mia was I believe -190 at 4.5, Det is -230 at -5. So even though one might think the odds are about right, in fact -150(-146 at Pin) is still a "bargain" with Det, that is if you didn't jump on them for Plus money before the series started.

I think they got swept in the first round that year too.

Miami can't win this series relying on Wade to play Superman. If Shaq can regain his past playoff form they can. I have a future bet on them to win the East so I hope he does.

When Wade is flashing championship rings on both hands maybe.......and that's a very doubtful maybe since they will probably lose this series.

Pistons will win. Wade was superhuman and they were still a Rasheed triple from tying that up and Billups was horrific. Just seems that the Pistons are the superior club if both are playing to similar capability levels.

how can pistons when when they have been shooting lights out from 3. rasheed was 4 for 5 from 3 point land in game 1. and in game 2 , they made 9 for 23. when their shooting cools off, miami will easily beat them. pistons offense can get non existent. Also, HAMILTON IS INJURED

ITS A HUGE INJURY FOR THE PISTONS
