<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->As discussed in private conversations with moderators from this site not only was the 125k there as stated but we would gladly send 85k back to escrow if the player is willing to do the same and let the FACTS determine the outcome.

SBR will put the players money up for him, all $40,000. We will send it to Jay Cohen and both parties will allow him to be the sole arbitrator. GCS will send $85,000. He will decide if the player should of been shorted in the first place and decide a final amount and distribute the money.

I'm not sure why we can't just "let the FACTS determine the outcome" without sending the money be we are comfortable the player did not cheat or do anything improper that rises to the level of shorting him $85,000.

let the FACTS determine the outcome.
Thats all anyone wants.

Is one possible outcome of the arbitration that the player should have gotten nothing, and therefore this 40K will also be forfeited?

If not, I also fail to see the point of gathering it to a central location.

I think this is defunct now, but yes, I imagine that would have to be one of the arbitration possiblities. If it's proven the player screwed the book (by hacking their software to allow higher limits or something -- 99.9999% not what happened) then he would forfeit everything.

One possible shady thing the player may have done is give the line manager a kickback in exchange for being a bit slow to update lines...maybe as little as 15 seconds, or reversing the order of time stamps making it look like our whale friend always hit the number first.

I'm not saying that's what happened, nor am I saying I side with the book, but we have to accept it as a possibility among many others. There are lots of ways for players to scam books, not just exceeding limits or manipulating software.

I am all for letting the facts speak for themselves. And I am even more for two parties to be able to discuss various options if they can't be bothered to do a tedious investigation.

There were special circumstances in this case. MyBookie did indeed have a reason to be worried over this player for whatever reason. There were variables that we do not need to discuss on this forum. Just the way it is. Thus, is why you greet and meet both sides and hear the debates personally before determining judgment.
