Watch Out For Officer Shaq

Anyone see this story about Shaq being sworn in as a U.S. deputy marshal?
I guess the internet is the only place he could be undercover. Although I think he would be a good deterrent in person too.

O'Neal has joined a Department of Justice task force that tracks down sexual predators who target children on the Internet.

He is becoming familiar with the techniques and software that officers use to track down the predators, said Miami Beach Police Chief Don De Lucca. And he spends countless hours on his home computer, logging into the police network and learning the ropes.

"I put a lot into it, and when I am done playing, I plan on going undercover and then being the sheriff or chief of police somewhere, either Miami or Orlando, I don't know yet," O'Neal said recently

He's also a reserve office in the Miami PD, from what I"ve read. I bet he doesn't have much trouble with anyone resisting arrest.

Yea he;s a real tough guy. went on a "drugbust" with a louisians sheriffs team. they kicked in the door of a trailer containing a punk kid weighing all of 120lbs and shaq put his head in a toilet , then acted on the news cameras like he'd took down Benny laden..kids mom sued the crap out of him and i think they settled out of court with the kid moving up to a dbl wide....was also some controversy as to how Shaq took the 150? some odd hours required to be a certfied officer in L.A. and played the whole season for the lakers at the same time....seems the classes were on like mon and weds nights and a news reporter showed that was no way he could have attended enough of them being as he was either playing those nights or was on the road...in other words they just gave him the certification. just like his degree...when they showed there was no way he could have attended the classes suddenly LSU remembered they let him take the classes online....at a time when they didnt even offer online classes! But when you got his kinda money...who really cares, give him anything he wants as long as you can be seen on camera with him:money8:
