TN -

I've been lurking here in your threads and I've played a couple of your winners, so first a big thanks goes out.

You're looking real good so far, and we'll get a couple tonight, yes?

Nice Record!! Considering we both just do totals you would think we would agree more often. Today we have 3 plays the same. I hope that is a good sign!!! I am not sure what you use for the basis of your handicapping. I have seen comments about umpires as one factor but after that I am not sure. When I handicapped everyday I use to track umpires before tracking umpires was fashionable.

Wishing continued success on your picks!!!

As Always Good Luck

2-1 today, and a push.

64-32 YTD

My only loss was a quick one, and I didn't have to sweat it as Towers got anoter reality check today. My two winners looked solid most of the game, then got really close in late innings. Finally, my push (BOS @ NYY) looked golden for 4 innings and then 9 runs were scored in 5th and 6th. Anyways, a crazy night and I'm glad it finished on a positive note.

P.S. Another 'total' winner in WNBA (3-0 YTD)

Good luck tomorrow guys,

Winning,

Actually only 7 earned runs scored in the Blue Jays game.

Winning Systems ~ 2-1 on our agreed on plays. I will take that every day. WNBA for Baker and I will be starting in a week, I will have to see how we match up in the Beaver Ball.

Playoffs totals have been very good to us. I joke that if you watch the Baker your dough will rise. He won the NBA handicapping contest on the forum. He was real funny, he only wanted to do totals but sometimes he had to make side picks to get his required plays. He said at one point in the contest he hit 40% of his side picks and 70% of his totals. When the line moves with us in the playoffs are NBA totals are above 65%. Gotta love that.

We are on opposirtes sides on Saturday with our baseball total selection. Maybe it will rain in Toronto!!!

Wishing you continued success.

As Always Good Luck!!

Northern Star,

According to a Weather Channel here in Canada, the possibility for rain in Toronto is at 40%. I think the 'roof' decision will be made at the game time.

This year's totals @ TOR :

INDOORS 9-5 over (10.71 runs per game, 2 HR per game)

OUTDOORS 5-4-1 under (10 runs per game, 2.3 HR per game)

Good luck tomorrow !

ZZZ,

I'm fully aware of our bad luck in that game, but things like that happen often and I learned long time ago, not to complain in gambling. The gambling gods are watching us.

Thanks for your feedback guys (all of you), it is appreciated.

I'm off tomorrow, but I will spend the day outdoors with my wife.

Good luck,

WS

Speaking of a classic, the Gophers were playing Oregon State about 20 years ago and beating them something like 49-0. The announcer who was always real diplomatic and polite in victory and defeat said on the radio, " The Beavers are really taking a licking today!!! "
