Ego MLB Friday (ytd 85-67 +50.30 units)

ST Louis -1 1/2 (+102) (3 units)...Reality has set in real quick for the Nationals after starting the season 23-18. They've lost 5 of 6, badly, I may add. Now they face the class of the NL, The Cards and Matt Morris. Armas has been a gascan, esp away from the vaunted mound in DC. Cards snapped out of their "mini" batting slump in a big way in the series finale vs. Pittsburgh. Wash is starting to feel like the Expos, being away from home for their 3rd straight series. They made a bunch of roster moves yesterday, in hopes of turning things around. Not a good sign.

NY Yanks -161 (2 units)...Two teams going in different directions at this point. Yanks passed up BoSox in the standings last night, and are looking to catch the O's next. These 2 starters (Wakefield and The Unit) have been going in opposite directions also. Boston's a frustrated ballclub right now, Yanks have gone from "we can't win" to "we can't lose" in a matter of 2 weeks.

Pittsburgh +103 (1 unit)...The Pirates have been very good to me lately, so I'll ride them and Fogg tonight. Fogg has done very well in his career vs. Cincy (6-1 3.61), and one of his main nemises, Sean Casey is still out after hurting his shoulder Tues Night. Last time out vs. the lowly Indians, Ortiz was serving up BP, and taking a hard grounder off the side of his face. Nice win for Pitt last night, jumped on Ramirez early and often. I will fade Cincy whenever I see fit.

wow ego team roxy may just parlay these! finally a decent price for the yankees but i had a thought earlier when the yanks were struggling. it seemed then that if you bet the pinstripes at anything above -200 they usually rolled. under-200 they got thier arses handed to them. ive made a few sheckles betting on them lately.but seeing a decent ML on them makes me nervous again.however im fully commited to my co-captain and the now gimpy roxster will limp along with you today and when the games begin i will pop a couple vicodin and trip on the pretty colors.lol. the color green makes us verrry happy :103631605

im going no where. i sprained an ankle badly yesterday and im off work but on crutches for 5 days. what bad timing.lol.so i only have time on my hands. i should be right near 10,000 posts by days end with the roxster sitting at the computer all friggin day.lol.winning helps. i appreciate you alot ego your a class act. we are who we roll with and its obvious you and bucsfan are good friends.~RG

thanks Roxy. Hope your ankle gets better, staying off of it is the best thing. I've had a couple bad sprains in my "career", and they hurt like hell the first day or two.
I consider Brent a very good friend, not sure if we're more like Lennon/McCartney or Liam and Noel Gallagher :lolBIG:

I prefer just a few plays than a large card.

I'll answer and Ego can correct me if I'm off: Ego seems to almost always have three plays. I can't recall, personally, a day this year he hasn't had three plays if he had any post. I think he took a short and well-earned break at one point for a couple of days. But, really, that is one thing I LOVE about his card. Very basic and succinct. I like his write-ups and I have enjoyed his success too! tulsa

thanks for the compliment, Tulsa. I usually play 3 plays a day, sometimes just 2, 4 at the most. But, 90 % of the time, just 3.
