Yes gang. I could not have been further off with the Reds last night. But at least the O's & Yanks came through. 8-2 the last 3nights lets roll into some major cash tonight.

CUBS -235 : Big Paper players on this one. Cubs have drowned people in a misery pool this year , but Prior will be Prior this afternoon. Lay the wood on this one. Cubs will get at least 3runs today & that is all the ace will need. But as a precaution do not put the full units on this one if it is a major part of your bankroll. Cubs can be scouted to a tee & still lose by 8 runs with an ace on the hill. My feeling is that they will win , but you don't want to have a heart attack knowing your bankroll is on the line.

BLUEJAYS +155 : The Jays are hitting the ball & getting pitching to turn those into wins. A sweep versus the BoSox is pretty damn impressive. Twins are playing well ,but not scoring a lot of runs. I know Johan usually only needs 2 or 3, but today his team is going against a pitcher who has a lower ERA than his. Josh Towers is a control pitcher who can get in & out of jams on a regular basis. I really like this kid's stuff and with the Jays scoring as well as they have been, I would be foolish to lay money on the Twins here.

DBACKS -104 : Good price for this team who is in the midst of fighting for the divisional lead. Estes has been money in his last three start with a 2.95 ERA. I look for that to continue at home in Arizona. Derek Lowe has been pretty much what the Dodgers traded for , except he hasn't been able to get a win on the road. I think the middle of the Dbacks order gets to him early & often tonight. With the hits coming few and far between last night I feel the Dbacks will see Lowe pitches as beach balls vs. the stuff Peavy had last night.

ORIOLES -155 : This squad is tough & determined. The one thing that the Orioles have done this year that wasn't in the past seasons is the fact they have beaten the teams who they are supposed to. DRays, A's, for example & now with the Tigers squad coming in I look for that to continue. The O's like the fact that at this point people are still expecting them to fail, especially with the injuries & the Yankees hot streak. They still see themselves as an underdog. As long as the middle of the lineup is intact i.e. Mora, Tejeda, Sosa, Palmeiro they can pretty much plug & play around them. Even when Sosa went down they continued to win. Its going to be up close to 80 degrs today so I expect much more offense tonight than this past week where the temps were in the 50's & 60's.

GOODLUCK MY FELLOW SPORTSINVESTORS:103631605

TIP: FOR THOSE WHO DON'T WANT TO LAY THE FULL CHALK BUT FEEL CONFIDENT THE CUBS WOULD WIN I SUGGEST A PARLAY WITH ANOTHER CLUB OF YOUR CHOICE TO OFFSET THE DIFFERENCE UPFRONT. (i.e. perhaps the Bluejays, O's , or whatever you consider your top POD)
