Love these fridays off from the office. Get to kick back with brews over at the HardRock, mingle with the near naked pool cooze in the heat- hey now :hump: . I wish I can stay away from my anti-systems, and that's keeping away from pussball teams following a major wad shot, as DRays killed the A's on wednesday, but managed only a dribble on thursday, killing all overs hope. Let's kill 'em this long weekend, and remember your troops during the holiday, they make it possible to keep the national pastime on the field!

bubba-sc ~ nice record, you desrve better than 100 views. I check your thread because of your record and mostly because you post alot of totals. Do you by chance have your totals record?

I will have to see how we do when we agree. I didn't have selections on either of your totals plays tonight. If someone had a gun to my head I would have picked one the same as you and one different.

I usually think handicappers do better in on or the other. Picking sides or totals, do you have a preference?

Thanks for the accolades NStar, yes I do love totals, and I will break down my totals and sides records after the weekend, as I know on wageline my totals record is far superior over sides. (I go by bubba-rgs over there, and ONLY one name there)

There is a wellknown handicapper here in Vegas named Ted Sevransky ("Teddy Covers" ), and he told me a few years ago that the thing with totals is, you can be just HALF WAY RIGHT about the analysis of a game ("Hot hitting Cardinals are coming into Coors tonite, may want to look at an overs play.."), and still cash a -110 ticket , whereas with a sides play, you have to be on the money with BOTH teams' analysis to consider a sides play. Same thing with NFL and NBA for that matter.
