When you have a tie game in the ninth with runners on 2nd and 3rd and someone singles or doubles the hitter should get credit for 2 rbi and a 2 run win. I know im selfish in my thinking, but this does not have anything to do with having the Angels -1.5 on the runline LOL. I know the books would adjust on the runline and lower the juice if MLB had this rule.

I agree. the play should be finished. If someone hits one into the gap he should get credit for a double or a triple and should get all the RBI's. I am surprised the players union hasn't brought this up since players are awarded contracts based on stats.

i've always wondered about that, i've seen the bases loaded and a homerun will score four, but if the bases are loaded, the outfield playing in, and a ball goes over everybody's head and bounces into the stands for an obvious ground rule double, and they only count 1 run.
