I may be looking to play Milwaukee when a line comes out, i believe Sheets is ready to go, esp. vs. houston and a medicore rookie pitcher
Chi Cubs -1 1/2 (+107) (2 units)...Lots of Cubby bashing going on lately. The Prior injury yesterday was probably their deathblow, but this team can still swing the bats, esp. vs. bad pitchers, and BK Kim is a bad pitcher. On the other hand, Glendon Rusch has been one of the Cubs "unsung heroes', filling in for Wood and Prior the last 2 yrs. He seems to enjoy pitching at Wrigley. And he is very effective vs. a weak hitting lineup. If Chicago has any chance of being a wildcard team, they must beat up on teams like Colorado.
Philly +118 (2 units)...It's been day and night (literally) for Jon Lieber (5-0 2,42 day) 0-4 6.59 night)..this would be a bigger play if not for Lieber's recent form (and the Philly pen). He's walked ALOT of guys of late, very odd for him. But, he looked a little better vs. Fla last time out, and he's been very successful vs. ATL's big bats (the Jones') while his counterpart Ramirez hasn't been as successful vs the current Philly lineup. Horacio is also giving up he longball a lot of late. Philly's bullpen is a concern, but Atlanta's in not much to write home about either.
Minnesota +100 (1 unit)...Pitching rematch of 3-2 Twins victory on 5/18..Blue Jays are without Catallano and Koskie right now. Both teams playing pretty well, Lohse has been very good of late, while Bush hasn't got out of the 4th inning in 2 of his last 3 starts. Bush has also had problems giving up the longball, while Lohse has kept it in the yard in his last 24 innings of work. Impressive win by Minnesota last night, clicking on all cylinders. White Sox will have some company very soon.
