So much for my prediction that 5 runs would mean an easy winner for us Milwaukee -1.5 bettors! :sad3:

Guys, Sheets did not get knocked around, I watched it...

He walked the leadoff batter then he had a groundball for a double play and Junior Spivey booted it to make it first and third, next batter singles in a run, next batter flies out, that would have been the third out and end of inning if it was not for Spivey svcking.

So what happens next is Ensberg hits a 3 run homer when the inning should have been over already...

Nice job Spivey.....Houston will not score any runs unless you give them away that is how bad they are at the plate...

Still early so let's hope for the best...

Thanks for the update T Hawk. I just got home and turned it on and saw it was 4-0 heading into the bottom of the 1st. I was worried.

The announcers mentioned an error by Spivey and a homer by Ensberg but I didn't know how it all played out. That is a killer.

I am worried when you have to score 4 runs just to get even...but let's hope they can get to this guy. He has been terrible in the majors and he was getting roughed up in the minors as well. I believe he has more losses than wins and an ERA close to 5.00 in Triple A.

Let's just hope the Brewers don't give away any more runs or we are in real trouble.

Part of my handicapping this game included the matchups between Sheets and the top 3 hitters for Houston (a small piece of the pie). Ensberg was 0-for-10 lifetime against Sheets heading in. :sad3:

Sheets is looking very impressive since I turned the game on (bottom of the 1st). He just blew away all 3 batters in the top of the 3rd. They didn't even have a chance at those pitches. 3 K's.

He has struck out 5 straight and 7 of the last 8 batters...and he is making them look silly. These guys look lost at the plate. Unfortunately, we need Milwaukee's offense to get going or it doesn't matter.

Unbelieveable...a line shot to 3rd base that should of been a hit either 2 feet to the left or 2 feet to the right...then a double play ball.

The only good news is Sheets is still out there. They were going to hit for him if his spot came up. I would have broken everything in site. He is making these guys look foolish and they were going to yank him to try and get the runs across. Unreal.

That was absolutly pathetic baseball by Milwaukee.

That piece of garbage Spivey had a chance to make up for his fvck up and he gagged with bases loaded no outs...

4 runs on 2 hits unfvcking believable....

Sheets day is likely done since he is leading off and they have him on a pitch count and wanted to keep him at 80 or under...he's already over 80.

5 IP
9 Ks
1 earned run

Unbelieveable...we should be up 2-1.

We are in business fellas! 4-3 after back to back doubles to start the bottom of the 5th with the 2-3-4 batters coming up with 0 outs.
