First off Great job so far Buc's. This by no means is a post to insult anybody or to take away form anything that you have done. On Thursday I posted that you did not have a winning night which you did not.


For arguments sake lets say your units are 100 dollars.


that night you lost 4 games = -400

u had a 2 unit play at i believe at +108 which would give you +216

your balance would look like this -184

u had a 2 unit play at i believe at -129 which would give you about +160

-184
+160= -.24 unit

I understand how you came to get your results that night. You wagered 129 to win 100. If u do that you are varrying your unit size. Betting 100 dollars on the under dogs and betting a unit plus vig on the favorites. If you would have lost those two plays at -129 how many units would you have lost? If you are betting a flat 100 dollars a unit you would have lost 2 units. If you wagered 129 a play you would have lost 2.58 units. If the last sentence is what you have been doing that's fine. Sorry about not posting sooner....im on vacation.

And what is your point?

If i play 2 units on a (-129) play, if i win i win 2 units, if i lose i lose 2.58 units....exactly as my plays go in at the book.....These are real plays and that is how i play them...and if u feel the need to go back u can check my card for every day for the past 3 years, its all documented, and they are all calculated just like that......

Just like 99% of the people who post their plays, i post them according to how i bet them at the book....a 2 unit play on a dawg, is 2 units to win (however much), and 2 unit play on a fav, is TO WIN 2 units......

Same as i have always done...

And by the way, I DID have a winning night.....a very small one, but a WINNING NIGHT....

i went back and looked at previous posts.......and u did have a winning night. i did not realize that u vary your unit size depending on fav/dog.....im used to flat betting and keeping the units the same...my bad....and like i said nothing personal.

OK, no problem....

i thought your point was that i CHANGED the way i was doing it, or was grading it different if i lost, and that is what lost me....I have done it the same for the entire 3 years i have posted plays here......

by no means am i saying that you grade your wins/loses diff.....just didnt understand your betting.....like i said im used to flat betting.
