How long do you think the public is going to be that easy to beat? Is this just tempory while the poker craze is still new? Or will the general public eventually learn how to play a decent game of poker?

your not old fishhead. I wish I could play no limit. I am still trying to be a winner at low stakes limit hold em.

I bought in for $100 at no limit at bodog once recently. I never play no limit but figured I could beat bad players. I'm down to $78 and get QQ. flop comes 2,3,4 rainbow. guy goes all in on me. I think and think, evry bone in my body telling me to fold. FOLD! FOLD! but no, I have no respect for these other guys. I figure hes on some kind of draw.

I know I should fold. I felt it thru and thru. Like a degenerate, I call and go all in. Turns out he has 2,2 down a set of deuces vs my QQ. I now root to put a bad beat on someone else for once but my hopes and dreams are for naught as no Q falls on the turn or river.

I stick to limit ever since. I wish I could play no limit well though. I agree, it must be a gold mine for a reasonably good player vs. the idiots who sign up after watching it on TV and think they can win playing 6,3 offsuit

I actually do pretty well in no limit tournaments, free rolls and such I get into from the on-line poker rooms.

I am a good sleeper pick in the RX bash poker tourney. Can Pinny put up lines on this? $100 max bet? I like me at 50-1

I am going to do my best to win the RX poker tourney. I think winning the RX tourney is a pretty good honor. We should have a belt made up like the " World Champion Wrestlers" do.

Or maybe give out bracelets like the WSOP. That would be a prized heirloom for any RX.com poster.

sorry MR Smith I edited instead of quoted

I got news for you.........finishing 5th or 55th is the SAMETHING in a poker tourney that pays three places!

Do you realize what place one would finish in the WSOP CHAMPIONSHIP event if he or she decided to not play ONE hand?

Who is the better tourney player that plays in 10 tourneys with 75 entrants and pays the top 3 places?

Player A:

55TH
35TH
45th
54th
2nd
1st
53rd
44th
44th
3rd

Player B:

11th
11th
7th
11th
8th
10th
10th
13th
9th
12th

PLAYER A has illustrated that he or she is a MUCH better tourney player!

Many inexperienced tourney players fall into the trap of thinking just because they finish high in a tournament that they are accomplishing something or EVEN THINK THEY ARE PLAYING WELL, WHEN ACTUALLY THEY ARE NOT............ if they RARELY RARELY ever finish in the money, it means nothing................and in fact proves they are doing something seriously wrong.
