WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I have been to NCAA Tourney Games, NFL Championship games, BIG NBA showdowns, Game 1 of last years World Series

but let me tell you something

THE DEVOTION, AND THE PASSION I SAY WITH OVER 25K IN PEOPLE AT THIS CONCERT.......BLEW ME AWAY

I WAS IN TOTAL AMAZEMENT TO SEE THE HOW DRIVEN THE AUDIENCE WAS....INCLUSIVE OF MYSELF

I guess what I am saying..........I felt a whole new adrenalin that was unmatched in any big sporting event I ever attended

It was also pretty emotional for this almost 40 year old as well, The only time, I was feeling weird was leaving with all the throngs of people.......a tad too tight for me.

Also the Fleet Center General admission floor is almost like cheating.........You are right there no matter where you are the floor of this place

Ok I am ready for another hahahahaha

That's cool Newport. I assume alot of that energy was chemicaly induced. ;)

Glad you had fun.

Saw U2 in Detroit in "85" shortly after they released Unforgetable Fire. U2 in the beginning use to play a song "40" off the album October for their last encore. Bono would get the crowd involved by having the crowd sing the song why they exited the stage. The truly incredible site was 18,000 people filing out of the Joe Louis still singing the song. I remember looking at a security guard and the look of disbelieve on his face. IMO U2 is certainly one of the most powerful live performers ever. Glad you enjoyed the show Newport

While U2 is great in concert the Boss and Queen in my opinion are (were) the best live acts ever.

Never saw Queen but can't disagree with Bruce. I would throw Peter Gabriel in there as well

good points - but i did concert security while going thru college and worked many big ones w/packed crowds and because of that, i can tell you NOTHING comes close to the passion, fervor, zeal and loyalty of

DEAD HEADS!

they LIVE (or rather LIVED - but you get the point) for the next show - and would travel the country just going from show to show to show to....

they would set up their own "community" ay the show's site several days before the show and just stay there and live for the next show.

it was unreal to see all this and realize there were people of all races and religions and color at the show all there to see the Dead - and nothing else

NOTHING WILL EVER top the Dead Heads - NOTHING

U2 is great in concert, nothing will top what they did on Zoo TV though, everything after that is a let down!

But for a rocking good time, totally unpredicatable, you guy had to have seen GUNS N ROSES back in aboout 1991 or 1992. I saw em in April 1992 in Chicago and the show was unreal, 3 hours long, all sorts of energy and just a toxic feel. Axl and the boys had to cancel the next night because Axl was about to be arrested for the riot in St Louis the previous year...

The tour Guns did with Metallica back in the day is rock history

The great thing about the old Guns was you neverknew what to expect when you went to their shows
Some nights Axl didnt show up on stage til almost midnight

They had been playing 40 again earlier in this tour. each member would leave the stage one by one until just Larry barely playing the drums and the crowd just singing along. Sucks they arent doing it right now. worth the price of admission alone.

Edge and Adam switch instruments for this song which is weird to see too.
