You know, like teaching their pitchers how to bunt, moving players over, etc etc.

Id have to say the Braves.

Not a Twins fan, but I think they are the best.

You are ABSOLUTELY 100% CORRECT MY FRIEND! Nobody plays the game as well as the Twins! I love watching those guys play:103631605

Twins is the call here. Just cause the White Sox have got ridiculously lucky and won so many close games doesn't all of a sudden make them a great executing team. They struggle mightily to score runs.

They continue to win close games because of timely execution and doing all of the little things right. Their team numbers are weak compared to their win/loss record. That is the ultimate sign of a well managed team. You call it luck, I call it good managing. They are the best team right now winning the close ones, and you have to be fundamentally sound and do all of the little things right to do that. I stick with my answer.

Cant say the Sox are lucky. They have the best pitching in the league right now. That is what wins close ball games.

They have had great pitching. Getting more of it today. The offense has been ridiculously ineffecient in executing today and they may get out of it with a another close win. Whether you call it luck, skill, good execution, good managing, or pitching they are getting way more than their fair share of one run games. It will start evening out with this pen of theirs.

Yes great starting pitching does mask the ineptitude of the hitting. But Guillen is easily my candidate for manager of the year. He has the guys believing, tossed all of the ego guys and even big hurt has bought into it. I respect success. So far they are making his fundamental approach to the game payoff.

Yes they are, it is a matter of time. This team simply isn't that good.

My most humble apologies to anyone who had the Pale Hose today. The line jumped huge, 30 or 40 cent move? Oops.
