Yup, am on the Braves. It was impossible to tell whether or not it was a homer, therefore it was ridiculous that the original home run call was overturned. Guess the powers that be want the team from the nation's capital to win on Memorial Day.

The ball clearly touched the fair pole. The Braves lost by 1 run.

Nice reverse jinx.
Jordan even thought that ball was foul, it was a tough call I thought.

Guys it was a homerun....The problem lies in the placement of the pole in RFK Stadium...It was a fair ball but did not hit the pole because the pole is set back about a foot from the outfield wall instead of into the wal..

There lies the problem the umpires I would imagine called it foul because it went over but did not hit the pole so it had to be foul by their thinking...

Not very logical but we are dealing with umpires and they are not very intelligent to begin with....

The 3rd base umpire had the best view and got the call correctly so I dont know which umpire over ruled him as there is no way they had a better view...

They need to get the pole into the wall and then it would have hit the pole and been ruled a homerun....

Braves got screwed very bad today...

I think the only other ump that would have had a decent view would have been the home plate umpire and he didn't seem to have any input on the ruling.

If Castilla doesn't botch that DP ball, the Braves have one less run. Two errors in one inning, Braves only manage one run. Just something to think about.

Braves have been the benefactor on more crap calls then any other team this year.

That first series with the Cardnials about a month ago was proof positive of that. Ump calling strikes for Atlanta pitchers but balls for St. Louis pitchers.

Tough boogs Atlanta.

$#^$ great. I just got back from the game and had the Braves. I couldn't see from where I was sitting from and there were no replays.
