ive never heard it called "to stay" but for 150 a night you should be able to find a decent girl.....i prefer downtown, so hang out at any bar in the golden nugget and remember to negotiate.......
Prob is the rates go up so much on fri, sat. Agree that Flamingo might be good place to check. Great location. Also check out The Orleans many people don't talk about staying there but it is a nice place. Rooms not spectacular and it is a bit off strip just a short cab ride though and you should defidently get a room for what your looking to spend for all nights.
i am going to vegas next weekend for the Arena (Football League) Bowl. i originally got a room for Fri/Sat @ Sahara for $110 then with all the "B.S." costs with it - the total came to almost $250
i wanted to see if i could do better so i went to Google and put in something like "discount Las Vegas hotel rooms" or similar and got a TON of results. the above site popped up and i checked it out and ended up booking a room for Fri/Sat @ the Riviera for $162 (i'm sure the $4 per night "energy charge" will be added to make the total $170 - but still - do the math - about a $75 savings which means our rental car is basically free - compared to if we were staying @ Sahara - which is like right next door to the Riviera anyway. and i like the fact the Riviera and Stardust sportsbooks are practically across the street from each other and you can go between them in like 60-75 seconds - if that
try it - you got nothing to lose. if we cancel our stay and give them like 24 hours advance notice it only costs us $15 which is nothing compared to most sites which charge you a LOT more to cancel once you book
here go to this website http://www.travelaxe.com and download the program. Its free, no spyware how it works is that it checks all the travel website for hotel deals in vegas and other places you have 20 some on places to compare prices for every maor hotel in Vegas. Just a hint however once you find a price and hotel you like go to the hotel's website directly and check out the prices there
Have you been to Vegas in the last year 100-150 gets you a midweek rate at most hotels unless you wanna stay at the Excailbur and the Stardust....everything is going up and to get free room at most places now a days in just not worth it to get compared a tthe luxor for example you gotta playing 225 dollar a hand in blackjack for 4 hours to get it comped. It isn't what it use to be
We just had Dinner with relatives that are staying at the Venetian which is top notch place for sure. Price on weekends was $ 239 but price drops for next 4 days to $ 100 a night. Big difference sometimes depending upon conventions that are booked in town. My wife works at the Circus Circus in Hotel reservations. I would not stay there. LOL
I have heard that the Bellagio has a poker room rate of ~$119.00 per night. From what I was told at the tables they don't do anything to check to see if you are playing.
