Just found out one of my good friends won the tournament in New Orleans. $780,000 for a 1st place finish!

Not bad, not bad at all.

We've been to Vegas together on at least 6 different occasions. He won a local tournament in New Orleans about a year ago for 60K, has played online numerous times and finally won the big one.

He's only 31, but he has gotten very good, very quick.

Plus, he's from Baton Rouge, another plus! :suomi:

Mind giving that man his props (his name) ??

I'm from Houma and 31 ...I have a few friends in BR that come down to play in our local game...wondering if maybe I knew him..

Great score there for sure !!

Wally Chambers. He's 31, from Baton Rouge and is a good friend of mine. The WSOP will be seen on TV sometime in August.

I have pictures of him winning the tournament and being interviewed.

I'm not a poker player, but this goes without saying, he is very good at what he does.
