I don't understand why Larry Brown would accept another position while his team is in the middle of a deep playoff run. Especially after his team lost due to mental mistakes in their last playoff game, the last thing they need is another distraction.
I can't imagine taking that job in Cleveland will be good for his health problems either. The way their owner is making moves, who knows what will happen.

He doesn't have to travel he can stay in one place that has gotta be good for one's health. Coaching is a stressful job but it doesn't matter anyway since Brown is only going to stay there for 3 years at most....2 more than likely like every other job. Great coach but I don't have a lot of respect for him outside of coaching

Typical Larryy...this coming just days after saying Detroit was his last stop either way...I thought he was battling health problems, and then two days later he's the Cavs GM,,,all during a playoff run that will possibly distract his team....

Great move for Cleveland, they cannot afford to jerk around with management or Lebron will end up elsewhere.

You make good points Journey (please, call me J-Man. .)

but seriously, I think any off season talk is moot at this point simply becuase it will be shocking if there isnt a lockout.

a leauge losing revenue and a bunch of players who dont grasp that concept always makes for some real long talks, see the NHL
