Did any one see that FirePay is listing on AIM this week. What do you make of it? Serious competition to Neteller or more of the same?

firepay tried to compete with neteller........they have had some many name changes that by now I don't know them all

firepay, terra payments, optimal payments etc.........

then got fined by mastercard for not following the credit backs guidelines........then they lost the cc processor to the firepay accounts= you can only deposit with EFT from checking account, obviously the problem was not tight enough fraud control

they are a pain to get ahold of via phone and when they even feel like answering you get the run around for months.....its next to impossible to get a straight answer........

I think they probably are hoping that someone buys...........

The absolute worst experience that I ever had about 4 years or more ago. Used them one time with a credit card and getting the funds back was like having a root canal. Got the money back on card eventually--but---I felt like I was bothering THEM!!

The only competition to Neteller "may be " Solid Pay. But as of yet I don't see the top 3 or 4 books using them. I'm referring to Wsex, Pinnacle, WWTS, etc.

FirePay was out years before Neteller. They have had several different names.

You will get far better service from Neteller. All I hear is complaints about firepay. Complete nightmare stories about having to wait 8 or 9 months to get funds back from them. And the worst part is they will refuse to send the money back to your book, so your book can't help you either. The customer gets stuck in limbo for the better part of a year.

Customer service even for the merchants is a joke. I can only imagine how bad it is for the customers.

There are much better options out there. Neteller is one of those options.

Well toi be honest I have never used FirePay, but by the sounds of things I wont be buying any of their shares either.
Personally I prefer moneyBookers to Neteller as they are WAY cheaper. But I have also never used Solidpay. Has anyone used these guys? any reviews?
