</TD></TR><TR><TD height=17>“Right now we are working on four different TV programming proposals,” Alex Czajkowski, marketing director for Sportsbook.com, said.

One of the proposals is believed to be a sports magazine show that would air on a nationwide cable TV channel.

Czajkowski also said Sportsbook was looking to develop two reality TV shows, among other opportunities.

“There are some really exciting opportunities to get on television,” Czajkowski added.

The firm signed a deal this week to be the title sponsor for two upcoming boxing matches that will be televised on pay-per-view channel Showcase and subscription channel HBO.

And it comes on the back of the recent high profile sponsorship of multi million dollar golf tournaments on the Golf Channel.

“We are using sponsorship to increase our brand reach through television, and by tying it to sports events it shows we are part of, and contribute to, the sports industry,” Czajkowski said.

In an unconnected event Sportsbook.com has launched a Spanish-language site aimed at the US’ 40m strong Hispanic community, which will focus on soccer and boxing.

"As a group, Hispanics make up nearly 15 per cent of the population of the United States and have more disposable income than at any other time in their history,” Tony Delgado, Brand Manager, Sportsbook.com En Espanol, said.
