I am assuming you are speaking of me as "Clip Jone's" only because I know I don't have many posts...if that is the case, I am flattered.

As a new poster that lurked for quite some time, I can say there are many that I learn from and continue to enjoy posts from. I guess it would depend on what type of information you were looking to gain from reading the posts because each poster offers certain insight to certain areas of the industry/betting.

1-Bucsfan
I have seen many, MANY, people claim outrageous winning percentages and units over the years. If I didn't watch this guy first hand post his plays daily, I would assume his record and units were inflated and a complete joke. I have never seen a baseball handicapper do what this guy continues to do on a daily basis. If you have not followed his plays in the baseball forum, you are insane. It is truly one of the most remarkable runs I have ever seen.

2-Fishead
I think he provides a ton of information that is very valuable for newbies or recreational players that are here learning about offshore betting and sports betting in general. He constantly provides information that could be used in Sports Betting 101 classes everywhere which is very valuable. He is also one of the few that doesn't mind sharing his info. I think a lot of posters here hold back.

3-Shrink
I find it entertaining and insightful to read his posts on a wide variety of topics. Any disputes/complaints with an advertiser are taken with a grain of salt simply because that is his job and he does a great job in protecting the advertisers while still keeping the integrity of the site. His insight on gambling related topics is always appreciated as his betting history and involvement with some of the sharpest players in the industry gives him access to information that very few have.

-----

Those would be the 3 most knowledgeable/informative posters for me as far as the information they share on this forum. I am sure there are many that are just as knowledgeable, if not more so. Those are just the 3 that jump out at me right now.

As far as the most knowledgeable/sharpest posters...I would say these 2 guys probably have more knowledge in their pinky of how things work than most will learn in a lifetime:

OFrog
Krackman

There are several posters I enjoy reading and I am sure I will leave a couple out, but these are the ones that jump out at me off the top of my head...all for different reasons:

Journeyman
Slim
Royal Fan
Books Worst Enemy
Rainbow
Ace Deuce Trey
Holysmoke
5 Team Parlay
RPM
Major
General
Dante
John Buzz
TOW
TTinco
Baseballguy
Ego
Boxslayer
Darryl Parsons
Winning Systems
Northern Star

Actually...I could go on and on so I'll stop there. The entire crew down in the Baseball forum is amazing. I spend more time there than anywhere else.

A great site with a ton of valuable information. The best part of the forum being so large is that there are a ton of opposite views which leads to great discussions and there is a ton of useful information if you can weed through the childish/immature posts by a select few.

Thank you Sir for the vote of confidence...I consider myself a 51%-52% capper, which is nothing spectacular, but at least it's real, unlike a lot of wild claims out there.

Top three posters who I think I can learn from ...

Railbird -- if he's in the right mood for sharing (sadly not too often)
acw -- also doesn't reveal stuff easily but when he does it's usually a gem
Low Tide -- like Railbird, excellent capper who uses unique angles and understands what's already in the lines and what isn't

Also I appreciate all posters who represent a dose of reality by exposing scammers, deflating outrageous claims, calling people out on childish ego-related stuff, or just being objective and offering sound advice or analysis.

Too many good posters to list, but they are the reason I log in to the Rx almost every day.

:discuss: You mean I could talk a good game and get paid for it? What am I missing out on? Actually The SHRINK was kind enough to ask me what I wanted, write articles, mod, whatever. I politely declined. I contribute because I want to. I appreciate the people who think I know something. I may have slept through High School, but that was because I was studying the sports schedule and the racing form at night. 30+ years now and some stuff has actually stuck in my head. However, I have never been one to rest on my laurels. Older you get, the more liklihood of stagnation, my biggest fear. Even the oldest trees in the forest are growing. The ones that stop growing simply fall down, and no one is there to hear it.

I think Rainbow simplified one of my basic beliefs, you have to beat the number. I just look at it like a game in itself. What is the number? Why is that the number? What is my number? Why are our numbers different? Who makes the number? Who moves the number? Why is the number moving that way? The other key is versatility. One trick ponies do not last in this business. And it is a business. Every facet of the business, I try to remain versatile. I situational cap, I matchup cap and I really cap the number. I will scalp, middle, hedge, bet, collect sign up, loyalty and reup bonuses. I will bet any sport, where I think I find value. But after all that, and all of the years I have been grinding, it is time to give back. Give back to other degenerates. Try and throw out useful info. Try and make people some money. Donate to the children's homes in C.R. Throw the clerks a party. WWTS is next for that. I do whatever I can to take care of my family and friends, and help out others for no compensation, other than the satisfaction of knowing I am trying to help. I have a lot to atone for from my earlier Bad FROG years. I may not have enough years left to do it, but I will try my best.

My Don Best is shut off. I will manually refresh for the last few NBA games. I will take my 2 months vacation from it all. But I belong in this world of degenerates. It is who I am. I always remember early in my career, I wish one of the vets would have pointed that pitfall out, instead of getting burned and learning the hard way. If that is all I can give back than that will have to do. I try to inform, provoke thought and entertain. Sometimes I just plain suck. But at least my heart is in the right place. If you want to do something right, it has to come from there.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

As far as the business, please treat the clerks with respect. I know the temptation is to take out the latest bad beat on them, but they are just doing their jobs, and not exactly big earners. Third world or not, these people are grinding and targets of severe abuse. Be kind to them for FROG. Hopefully the karma will catch you on the backside with a nice winning streak...OF:103631605

I think highly and have a respect for most all posters here. There are quite a few categories inwhich we can guess on who would be the most educated. With that said, I will not try and guess who they are. I have learned things from many posters here. Thanks to everyone for sharing your opinions.
