I'm watching "Casino" on the Bravo channel and when it comes time for Joe Pesci to say "You Jew Mother F*cker", they dub it over with "Jew money lover".

Who came up with that???? :lolBIG:

it was supposed to be a racist comment. would you want them to change the theme of the scene so instead of "jew mother f*cker" he said "jew expert crafstman"?

they shdnt change it at all....

it disrespects the movie writers, producers, actors etc...

if you have young kids they shoudnt be watching that wether it is dubbed or not.

enough already of the state MORALIZING for us, I think we can do that for ourselves.

Interesting dub.....my guess would be that they tried to keep the message derogatory, but without the dreaded F word that sends the censors over the edge.

what about when Michael Jackson had a line in a song with the words something like:

"Jew me, sue me...Kike me"

somehow that all got passed over rather quickly - but for him to utter that line is asinine.

imagine if i cam out with a song and one of the lines was "N*gger me"

i can promise you it would take less time for the protests to begin that it would for the world record holder to run 100 Meters

I think that "They Don't Care About Us" song from Michael Jackson was way before he was Wacko Jacko. Back then he could do just about anything he wanted and people didnt much care as long as he could still moonwalk and "hee hee"

But the "N" word always receives an unwarranted amount of negative critism, unless your Eminem.

Its just the one of the many double standards of modern society.

I"m not losing sleep over it nor am I jewish, but that is a pretty interesting phrase they decided to use. Usually you hear something pretty tame in the expletive's place.

I hate to say it guys, I believe most of the world doesn't like Jews.

I am a MOT myself and have been in many situations where friends, strangers and enemies have all be very anti semetic. I get more disappointed than angry.

Those that do not know me think that I am hispanic or just don't "look "jewish.
