He really hasn't seemed to fit in , in years..even his comeback season two years ago, Thomas seems to have distanced himself from this group....damn shame too...But, like so many other mid 30's steroid era players, he's faded almost overnight.

JMan,

No doubt he has faded, but do not think he is/was a steriod abuser. He was big when he entered the league, and was never especially muscular like some of the steriod freaks.

Juan Gone, Canseco, Bonds, Dante Bichette, Brett Boone, Ivan Rodriguez - all steroid users in my opinion. Don't think Thomas was.

He looms like he's been inflated. Everyone else has gotten off the juice and shrunk, Big Frank got on the cheesburgers and has inflated. 25 AB's does not a comeback make, but heymaybe he'll keep it up. As long as no one lets the air out of him.
