don't know him.

Just started State of Fear by Michael Crichton and I like it (I had read all of his other fiction)

Grisham is also an easy fun read for summer, read Bleachers last Sunday.
I also read Phil Gordon's poker pook last Saturday, another light easy read.

Another fun read is Fools Die by Mario Puzzo.
Brett Easton Ellis is a littl ewierd, but nce summer reading (American Psycho, Glamorama)

Zip - not new but excellent summer reading (if you haven't already read them):

The Odessa File, The Day of the Jackal, and The Dogs of War all by Frederick Forsyth, all available new and used at Amazon.

RIGHT page p < Demons. and Angels recommend I turners. are books His go. a is Brown Dan by Anything Venus! on>
You also get some good suggestions from http://www.usatoday.com/life/books/front.htm

Read the first 400 or so pages then throw the book away. Make up your own ending, Brown's ending is one of the worst I have ever read (angels and demons). However, like I said I could not put it down for the first 400+ pages.

I must admit I was just a lil dissapointed with the end of DaVinci´s Code, but the book kept me awake until 4am couple days... couldn´t stop reading.

Your right about Brown's endings. He tries too hard to wrap his books up into a neat package, to not leave anyone with a lingering distaste for his current topic whether it be: The Catholic Church(The DaVinci Code, Angels & Demons) or the Government( Digital Fortress). But you got to admit he is not as bad as Stephen King..... now he really sucked at a good ending.

Judge, I have read Ghost Soilders. That was an incredible book. I would recomend that one to anyone who loves war stories. An incredible act of bravery by those men.

Reviews

The Times
‘ brilliantly written and intriguing .. his will soon be a name to whet the appetites of readers and critics alike’

Uncut
‘Mission accomplished. One novel in and Connolly has hit the jackpot and jump started British crime fiction into the present'

Bizarre
‘J.J Connolly has created the caper of the year…it’s fantastic’ Synopsis
Layer Cake, a metaphor for the many murky layers of the criminal world, is set in modern day London and features smooth-talking and sophisticated drug dealer 'X' whose plan is to quietly bank-roll enough cash to retire young (early). Operating under the polished veneer of a legitimate businessman, his mantra is to keep a low profile and run a tight operation until it's time to get out. 'X' sees his opportunity to make a final score when crime boss, Jimmy Price, asks him to find the wayward daughter of rival crime boss, Eddy Ryder. He agrees to take the seemingly innocuous gig as his opportunity to get out of the business with the blessing from Jimmy Price. From the glitz of the London club scene to the underbelly of its criminal world, a dark, twisted thriller ensues.
