Fade my pick of the millenium if you want to. I know college baseball like Michael Jackson knows Jesus Juice.

500*Pick of the millenium and all that is holy and right.

Clemson -240 over the College of Charleston

WOW!!! Box whats up buddy? Are you for real on this one? I do not follow college baseball at all so I have no clue about this pick. But "pick of the millenium"? Must be pretty strong. LOL. How about those Heat? Good luck today!

I'm 3 years removed from college baseball. Played 4 years at UF. I know College of Charleston, I know their coach, and I know Clemson and their coach.

Clemson swept the University of Miami this year, then knocked them out of the ACC tournament. They have a history and tradition of postseason experience. Teams in college are nowhere near as evenly matched as MLB. At UF we beat college of charleston 28-2. They are never any good. They threw their ace yesterday. Clemson still has their ace ready to go. There is not one player on College of Charleston that is better than one player on Clemson. This game is damn near close to a lock as you can get.

I'm telling you if Clemson plays College of Charleston in this same exact situation over and over and over 100 times Clemson wins 99 of them. This isn't like NCAA basketball where Creighton can beat someone. In the 1st round maybe, because the low seed throw their aces 1st round, but not against the powerhouses like Clemson. This is unbelieavble value.

Tennessee is a great team this year. They were in the running until the end to win the SEC title. Now they are only -174 over Winthrop who threw their ace yesterday to get here?

South Carolina is strictly a value play, but between Clemson and Tennessee, I'm not really looking for value. I'm looking to hit big quick on two lines that should be -800 for these two games.

As for the Heat....I'm pumped for tonight, but I just cant see the Heat winning tonight. I hope Wade is OK. I don't care as much about this game, but he needs to be good to go for next game.

send me the kisses after

i'll be around for the whole college postseason....

it's too hard for me to bet on a team like the yankees -240 when anyone can win on any given day in MLB, and then i get tennessee -174 and in college it is as close to a lock as possible

clemson should be -600 at LEAST
tennesee should be -500 at least
south carolina should be a pick'em

you can also bet clemson and tennesee to win their regionals...which means theyd have to lose twice in their own regional at the same prices

By the way for informative purposes, here is how college baseball postseason works in case some of you dont understand.

64 teams are selected by the NCAA committie for regionals (Playoffs), which are 4-team double elimination tournaments at 16 different sites across the country.

The best 16 teams in the country are awarded regional hosts. Which means they get to host the mini-4-team tournaments at their universities. (Home field advantage)

There are 4 seeds in each regional. Typically the home team gets the 1 seed and they open up against the 4 seed. 2 seed plays 3 seed.

2 seed and 3 seed are typically somewhat evenly matched and they throw their aces against each other.
The 1 seed is usually a powerhouse like Miami, Cal State Fullerton, etc throwing their #2 or #3 starters against a 4 seed like Quinniapac's ace.

The 1 seeds usually win setting up a 2nd round match against the winner of the 2 vs. 3 seed.

Then the 1 seed uses their ace vs. a #2 or #3 seeds 2nd starter.

The winners of the 16 regionals then advance to Super Regionals, some of which are aired on ESPN.

So if Cal State Fullerton wins their regional, they would play let's say Long Beach State who is the #1 seed in their regional.

Those 16 teams square off...and the 8 winners go to Omaha for a large double elimination tournament.

Today is #1 seed vs. #2 or #3 seed day.

We have Clemson who is a traditional powerhouse. Vs. College of Charleston who is a 2 seed, used their ace yesterday, and is clearly not as good as Clemson and Clemson is playing at home.

Same for Tennessee series.

Best of luck.

You are right there is tremendous value on College Baseball Regionals, Super Regionals and Omaha. I am on it and actually laying down more than normal as there is a lot of value out there. Good Luck! :103631605

Rawpimple,

Don't let my excitement allow you make plays that aren't within your limits. Personally, I'm way over-betting on those two games and making a normal wager on South Carolina. But I don't recommend you do the same. In all honesty, college baseball is more of a broken record than any other sport and these games and situations are as close to a lock you can get. These types of games and situations are a dime a dozen. And it seems the same exact results happen every year. That is just me, because I feel I'll never find a value like this in sports for the rest of the year. But, as always, exercise your own personal caution when betting on any game. :103631605
Good luck.

Tennessee is just as good value. These big schools with great post-season experience, playing at home throwing their aces - against sub-par teams who have no winning tradition or post-season savvy, throwing their #2 starters, that have deceivingly good records because they play in weak conferences. It's the same thing every year.

Tennessee and Clemson can have off games and Winthrop and College of Charleston can play the games of their lives and it will still be a close game.

This is the 1st year putting college lines out "game by game" for regionals. They usually just have "who is going to win the regional". Now they are doing individual games for the 1st time, and I'm loving it.

1st year doing it, and they are way off. Next year you'll see this same game situation and you'll see teams in Tennesee and Clemson's position at -400 at least.

If you want to track the games, you can type in google the school's name and mascot and atheltics...for example
"tennesee volunteers athletics"
go to their site and click on their live game tracker....

i think ncaasports (google ncaa sports) has a NCAA regional scoreboard to stay up to date.

Best of luck everyone.
