Balt/Det OVER 9 (-121) (2 units)...these two teams have had some high scoring games against each other this season totals of 17,12,14, and 21 among them), and had another one last night as Balt came storming back to beat Det by a touchdown, That's not good news for todays pitchers, Cabrera and Maroth, who have both struggled lately. Balt has been smacking the ball at a .315 clip away from Camden Yards, and Det has put up respectible run totals this week (7,6,6,5) on their homestand. Ball should carry well in the warm Detroit today.
NY Yankees -125 (1 unit)...Time for a wake up call for Silva. He's not facing Mill or Clev, like he has the last 3. NYY has lit him up the 2 times he faced off vs. this lineup last season. Still don't trust Kevin Brown enough to go higher than 1 unit in this matchup, as he looks more like John Leiber with each passing start. Still a very quality, useful pitcher, imo. Should get enough run support to pick up the W. Yanks seem to respond each time The Boss crucufies them in the papers.
Stl/Hou UNDER 7 1/2 (-124) (1 unit)...Repeat of the 1-0 STL win in extra innings in April. Gotta believe this looks a lot more like Friday night's 2-0 game, than yesterday's slugfest. A lot of juice to swallow on an UNDER, but just the way I see it.
