I'm going to the Arena Bowl with 2 friends, anyone else going to be there? Could maybe meet for a few :drink: :drink: :drink: a pre-bash warmup with some filth and debauchery. Staying 2 nights at McDonalds Ranch with friends and 3 nights at the Nugget, leaving Wednesday so let me know before:toast:

I am GOING (even if it means missing the Super Regional if Fullerton makes it)

Got my room at the Riviera and a friend who works for FOX got me 2 tix - and my guess is they will be niiice ones, too

they are literally giving away tix because they'd rather give them away and have a full T&M then sell them and have an empty one for national TV (not that anyone will be watching)

we (friend) leave friday afternoon - and come home sunday after the game (not ASAP - but by around 5P)

Winky you are dreaming. They say leaving anytime after 8am on Sunday these days is a 6 hour drive to LA, sometimes longer. I see it all the time, but of course I am driving in the other direction so I couldn't give an exact time. Its a crawl in about 4 different spots, horrendous being out in the middle of nowhere and seeing nothing but tail lights in my rear view.

ive been there!when the wildfires broke out from L.A. to san diego my friend and i were stranded and 2 other friends headed home on the 15. it took them 18 hours to make the 350 miles drive. what a nighmare. and remember the miles and miles of construction going on out there after barstow.speaking of san diego wildbill i left you something in the costa rica chit chat forum:103631605 ~RG

as for the game and drive hom - i have left vegas around 5P on a sunday and gotten home by 9:30P - so not too bad - and the fact the kiddy's aren't 100% out of school yet helps my cause

and now having said that - if/when fullerton beats arizona tonite and makes the super regional this weekend - and the games are at fullerton - that is SERIOUSLY going to make us re-think this arena bowl thing. ANYONE who has ever been to a SR at a host school knows the super regionals in college bases are AWESOME! teams play for the right to go to Omaha - and this is that chance. compare it to a NFL Conf Title game - because EVERYONE plays for the right to go to the SB - and this is what the SR is like

have fun

we are one of the lucky 3,654 people in So Cal who managed to gobble up what might be the hottest ticket in the area - a ticket to the ASU @ Fullerton SR this weekend

the packed SRO crowd and environment will make for a GREAT setting and one we couldn't miss for the Arena game
