Locks of the Millenium: 5-0

Lock of the Millenium #6
Alabama +275
Tulane -315
Green Wave are the #1 ranked team in the country and they start one of the best overall player in the country, Micah Owings. This guy plays in the field and pitches, and he's the real deal. Alabama I thought would counter with their ace All American who threw on Friday, and I was ready play Alabama if they started him, but they are countering with their #4 starter their mid-week guy who has only started 2 games this year. I've seen Alabama play 4 games this year in person, and they are very unimpressive for an SEC team. I think Tulane wins this game 85 times out of 100. Tulane's at home, Bama is bad road team, their bullpen is spent, Tulane as a full staff ready to win this game and move on, this makes it our Lock of the Millenium #6. Remember to exercise caution, it's a marathon not a sprint.
2pm Plays
Arkansas +310
Texas -350
Recommended Play: No Play
Action Junkies Lean: Arkansas +310, Strictly on Value
With Texas' home field advantage at one of the best college stadiums in the country, wealth of post-season experience, and legendary coach this team should find some kind of a way to win this game. It would be shocking to not see yearly Omaha-bound Texas advance out of their own home regional, but the price tag is too steep at -300. Arkansas is an SEC battle-tested team that has been ranked in the teens all year long. Arkansas will start an experienced senior on 2 days rest which he has done all year long. Texas will throw their mid-week freshman starter who has been absolutely dominant over smaller schools, and has yet to start on 2 days rest or face a big school like Arkansas. Texas wins this game, in this exact situation 6 times out of 10. Does that warrant a -300 line? No, Arkansas is the value play but as they say "Don't mess with Texas." I'm making a 1 unit play on Arkansas.
