I agree, however there are many other books besides Pinnacle that offer great baseball lines of the dimeline or better variety other than just Pinnacle.

Me personally-I will always give "loose" action to the CRIS',OLY's for my rare baseball action. They've been so good to me through out the year, that i'm at the point that I dont care about the 50 bucks I can save, with a 10 or 8 cent shop.Pinny's on my shit list at the moment any way, they cut me and a RX buddy off last month anyway. Were being "teased" that they might let us in again in a month so I dont want to step on anyones toes. But goodluck on your crusade,I'll be playing at Oly,Cris,Holly,Wsex,I dont have a top 5 anymore. Its the top 4.

GREENHEAD

PS-I play with more than those 4-dont want to" plug" non-advertisers

Good points Green. Not to mention CRIS's loyalty program is a great bonus.

I will not play books for baseball that have 20 cent lines or no overnights. I depleted my account at Olympic till football season. I would think their baseball business would be down drastically if they stick to 20 cent lines. I am really surprised books still do it.

i think there are a lot of people out there who are used to dealing with locals that dont know any better. they would rather just stick with a book they already trust than try somewhere new...

Good point RPM. Since the vast majority of the general betting public don't bet baseball then it's not as important to them(Public or Book) as to the daily grinder year round looking for the best price on baseball sides. Most of the betting public wants money available to get ready for the football season.

I was able to take the Pistons/Spurs Game 1 UNDER 179 last night when OLympic was the only one with the line up following the Piston win. Pinnacle's website was down after the Piston win last night so OLympic got the early play. Always good to spread things around and keep your options open.:103631605

Very good point ...

Same goes with ridiculous and unfair teaser odds, especially with football approaching.

Books that still have 4 - 4.5 - 5 point basketball teasers instead of 5 - 5.5 - 6 should not be considered either

Pinnacle, TCBets, and Millenium (Last time I checked) are your best bargains for football teasers....

Most would not boycott over a 20 cent bases line when there are other areas of interest for them at a shop. They may offer value on Nascar, Wnba, NHL, or other sports and a lot of people don't care for baseball anyhow.

Most books get beat up during baseball season...I don't think Olympic and CRIS really care if you take your baseball action elsewhere. In fact, I think that is why they still keep the 20 cent line. I would love to see their hold % compared to the other shops with that 10 cent line difference and less sharp action. Great move in my opinion.

Those 2 books know what they are all about and don't waiver from their model, just as Pinnacle and their reduced juice. Olympic and CRIS are old school bookies and they will have plenty of action with the point spread sports and make a killing again on the sports they know are money makers for them.

These premier shops which offer 20 cent lines could care less if you played bases there. They are encouraging you not too, but as well, they still get a lot of action from a certain customer base anyhow. They know you will be back for football season. Just buying time until then.

Carib is another 20 cent line book on baseball sides but them with CRIS and OLympic are solid no pay question outs with great websites. I can bet totals everyday at these places and sides elsewhere so it's no big deal when spreading play around. Sometimes as Pancho says the high or low end of their 20 cent side is the same as others , especially at post,so they also get that play.

I think what some may have missed the Red books, 20 cent line displays red on Don Best, are openers. Bet CRIS, Oly and 5 dimes put those lines up first. That is very risky in a scalp happy sport like bases. Even with a 20 cent gap you still may get the number you desire, and comeback later with scalp at the 8-10 centers. The day those 10 cent and below shops start posting openers is the day we may see something change. Just do not see that anytime soon. Even though there is a bigger gap, value may be found early, when they are alone, or late, when they still have best number. I will be thinking about the grind when I am fishing. But for those who continue, those openers can offer more value than the cheap juice later.

After the openers have been hit into position. Openers are Bet Cris, Oly and 5 dimes, they take all of the early action before the sideline books enter the field. Pinny watches. In all sports. Reduced juice and openers are not in the same business. If Pinny does venture out early, look for big red asterisk.

the point is if you let one get away with it they all try to do it and if
they get away with it in baseball they'll do it in other events too such
as basketball and football!

There is no reason to do it in basketball and football. They make money with those sports.
