Can someone talk me out of going BIG on the Angels today?

Seriously, I see no way they could possibly lose this game. Atlanta's lineup is in shambles, Ramirez isn't very good, and their bullpen is brutal. What chance do they possibly have of staying in this game, with a servicable pitcher in Byrd going for the Angels?

if big is 3% of your bankroll and you like the play then do it.

if you're talking stupid money management than I wouldn't

Yes, I meant basically the maximum reasonable bet. I haven't been betting baseball very long, and sometimes I wonder if I am spotting great values or being suckered. To see the Angels as a dog in this game seems incredible to me.

Here's a reason. The funked up line. Pub is on LAA, yet the line has moved 10 points the other way. Atlanta -115 is a joke. I will be on the other side.

Why is the line going up without Chipper Jones and Estrada? I would be careful with this one as it looks very fishy.

Hate betting any team, in any sport, when the star goes down. Looks like great value, I agree, but usually if it's too good............Good Luck, but I would not make this a "big play".

Very simple rule. Play Angels after a loss. They won yesterday so the game does not qualify.

I love that. In that case, I'd be on the Royals & Rockies all year long, cause they are always due.

your comparing apples and oranges here. Take a look at the braves home record, then look at the royals and rockies home record.

I would be careful of the Angels, this looks like a braves win to me.

I've looked at this thing from every angle, and decided that I can afford to lose some coin on the Angels in this spot. There's no reason why the Angels should lose except for the idea that it seems too obvious of a play. I'm going against my better judgment and taking them, even though I feel like this is one of those toys where someone lays out a dollar bill attached to a string, and when I reach for it they will pull it away and make me look like an idiot.

I dont have any real particular lean on the side, but the under 9 looks real good to me unless the Braves bullpen comes into play early.
