Not for one season have the Chicago Cubs ever had a healthy pitching staff. . . Will there ever be a time when Kerry Wood and Mark Prior are able to pitch a couple of complete months together? And if not, don't you think its time for the Cubs to change something up if they ever really do want to be contenders?

Do they try to make a trade for someone new or what are your guy's opinions?

Very early yet to tell, Mitre I think is very capable of giving up some big innings. However they seem to be pretty good so far.

What I am saying is that they can't keep them all and if you think they are the answer, then dont you think that the cubs should keep them and open up some cap room by getting rid of Wood? This would allow them to afford some more talent rather then wasting it on medical bills?

I'm pretty sure Blue was kidding.

Wood will never be the pitcher Chicago thought he would be. Terrible mechanics will keep him a regular visitor to the DL.

Prior has the potential for a hall of fame career. The injuries that have shelved him have been a reasult of non-throwing "freakish" type plays.

Zambrano if he could get his emotions in check has the potential to be the best pitcher in the game.
