Where was this last year Pedro?? So far he's pulled a Clemens...leaves Boston and then, when "respected", finds his dominating self again. Still, I'll never despise Pedro like I do Roger.

Pedro definately looks good out there but you have to attribute some of his success this year to pitching at Shea Stadium which can make average pitchers look good and good pitchers look great..much different then pitching at hitter friendly Fenway. I am surprised with the run support he is getting however

Glad he's on my fantasy team though and is doing a good job of justifying himself as a 2nd round pick

You knew he was thinking about that when he signed with the Mets. He has his ring, now he can go for the money in the spot that makes him look good and covers up the fact his fastball isn't clocking in like it used to.

Not tonight, but for a season it will show. He isn't hitting much above 91 or 92 with the heater anymore. He is just a very resourceful guy who realizes what pitching is all about, not trying to blow hitters away like he could when he was younger. The park definitely helps a pitcher in his spot because some of those high heaters he would have blown hitters away with in the past will be caught up with and the big outfield will save him a number of homers.

i dont doubt that shea is a good place to pitch but, he has dominated. remember that playoff series in the late 90s where his arm was hurt and he was lights out throwing changeups and junk?

he is the man. period.
