NEW FOR 2005!!
The OSGA is stepping forward this year with a completely new site filled with more
information than ever before on Sportsbooks, Casinos and Poker Rooms!!
Take a Look!
TIP OF THE DAY
Sport: MLB - Baseball
Game: Boston Red Sox @ St Louis Cardinals on Jun 8 2005 7:10PM
Prediction: St Louis Cardinals
Current Line: -155
Over/Under: 9.5 -105
Reason: The Cardinals have done a terrific job of exacting revenge on
the Red Sox in this series, hammering out 16 runs in the first two
games. They complete the sweep against David Wells and co. on Wednesday.
The Cards have been unstoppable against lefties as of late, hitting over
.360 over their last 10 games. There's no doubt in my mind they'll be
able to get to David Wells early and often in this one. Boomer has been
very inconsistent this season, especially on the road where he is 2-3
with a lofty 6.23 ERA. Wells has given up at least four earned runs in
four of his last five starts overall.
The Cardinals will counter with Chris Carpenter. He has been cruising as
of late, allowing just four earned runs over his last 22 innings of
work. In five night starts this year, Carpenter is a perfect 4-0 with an
impressive 1.85 ERA. The Cards are 9-3 in his 12 starts overall.
With the Cardinals bats tearing the cover off the ball, this could be
another lopsided victory. We'll back the home side here. Take St. Louis.
