Well we are back in full interleague swing, hopefully to make some money tonight. Aren't the Yankees scary, ouch Randy Johnson gets hit like a minor leaguer. How about the Overs coming back in Colorado again. Well let's see where our money can be made today.
Baltimore Orioles +114 : Trap line; it appears that way. I'm sorry for being bull headed ,but a plus vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates is a must play for me. Too much value in the Orioles play tonight. Not to mention Brian Roberts will probably be available, if not starting tonight. Look for Sosa to snap out of his slump facing Williams ,who he has 7 hits in 12 AB's.
Chicago Cubs -175 : Rusch has a 1.96 ERA & a 5-1 records for the Cubbies. Back in the friendly confines, the Cubs seem to be back to where they were before they hit the road . But I don't expect their lifeless home offense to stay quiet tonight vs. Towers. I was & still am high on the youngster, but he has been in a tough stretch losing his last 3 starts. Look for the Cubs to get it done tonight.
Astros vs. Mets Over 6.5 -125 : The Mets offense alone may get this total based upon the way they have been hitting of late. The Astros are pathetic this year, but Pedro always seems to give up a bomb or two per game. Hopefully a runner will be on when it happens tonight to make this as painless as possible for us.
New York Yankees -118 : Yanks are hearing it big time in the media, not just NY but nationwide. Managers are hearing their jobs being questioned & players have people wondering if they are worth what their check is stating. Unfortunately for me I have enough confidence in the Yankees squad that they will want to right the ship themselves & put together another string of victories before heading into St Louis. I think the big dogs come up big time tonight. i.e. A Rod, Jeter, Sheff, & Posada. I can understand if you don't want money risked on them tonight though.
