Seven players on the San Diego team have been affected by an upper respiratory infection and first baseman Phil Nevin missed last night's game because of the flu.

Dunno why public are leaning towards San Diego when that is one infected club house....

can anyone confirm this? someone on the MANSION exchange is offering up a very cheap price on SD, meaning they are backing CLEVLAND in this game large. they are offering 100K.

the other times I have seen these 'anamolies' on the MANSION exchange the big punters side usually seems BANG on,

im a thinking that CLEVLAND is the play here for sure

choptalk, if someone can confirm that the flu bug or other illnesses have hit San Diego's team, then I will be very interested on a Play with Clevland.

I am just waiting for a second party to confirm the reports about SD being 'under the weather'........

This has been going on for a while. They have been shifting guys in and out of the lineup due to the flu, and Peavy missed his start over the weekend because of it. I am willing to bet he was far less than 100% last night. There are definitely guys even in the starting lineup who are playing at less than 100%, but 80% might be good enough against Westbrook with Eaton going for the Padres. Eaton threw well against the Cubs on Friday and appears to have avoided whatever bug is circulating in that locker room.

San Diego can beat the Cleveland indians anytime of the day unless they are all sick like they are .Think about it they have lost the first two do to illnesses ,it remains the same as today .Trust me on this one !!!!!

The team has been sick. That can be documented easily by going to the San Diego newspapers.

If you think any baseball game is a lock. You are not nearly as smart as you make yourself out to be.

what are you talking about ?

i don't know whos gonna win today and i have no money on this game but...

westbrook has 7 quality starts ytd (12 overall starts)

take out his two starts against detroit (as they really have his number, they killed him in pre-season too) and all of the sudden, his era is down to 3.44. the guy went 7 innings twice and 8 innings four times. no home runs in last 5 starts.

i just dont think he has been pitching bad this year...

good luck buddy...

Why would mansion try to bait you on the exchange? If they wanted to bait you all they have to do is put the same line at there sportsbook. I know you know more about exchanges than me. Whats your take?
