I have been sucked into Baseball after talking to an old Pro Bowler ( as in Cricket) who said that after 10 overs( over=6 balls) you were literally, chancing your arm and could be expected to be hit all over the place.

Thinking that there cant be much difference between a Bowler and a Pitcher, I decided I had found an angle my American Cousins may not be aware of. With that in mind, I tracked the Kansas-San Fran game and low and behold, both pitchers habve hit 60 pitches by the 5th, score being 0-1. So I lump on the over at a ludicrous price, and suddenly the bases are loaded:party: all I want is the next dope to just hit the ballonce out of 3 goes, not home run or anything, just hit and keep the ball rolling. What happens, said dope couldnt hit the side of a barn. End of new theory.:sad3:

Thats better.

You might want to go to Jimfiest .com and look up pitchers and look up their WHIP's (walks, hits to innings pitched) if it is over 15 that might give you a lean toward the over.

Also look for avg. number pitches per game.

Also you might look at what a team OBPS or OPS is....High on base pct. usually generates runs espeacially against a pitcher with high WHIP....(patient hitters)
Also you might want to look up home umpire strike/ball ratio.

Patriot,
Many thanks for the advise, however, I am far too old a dog to start learning new games. Just needed opinions on a simple, when Both pitchers have had 60 pitches each before the top of the 5th, and the score is under, is there some credence in betting the over at odds above +200

TB/Cincy Fossum has 50 pitches already and they are in the second...if he gets out of the jam, you should look at the over here.
