Had some from April at +275. But also took Dallas and Miami at the start of the playoffs when Duncan's ankle was being questioned

Took some more after they went up 2-0 on the Suns at -125

The Spurs have taken care of business at home, particularly against the good teams. Look at the average score of this impressive trend:
SAN ANTONIO is 12-2 ATS (+8.8 Units) in home games when playing against a good team (Win Pct. 60% to 70%) this season. The average score was SAN ANTONIO 98.1, OPPONENT 81.

Sometimes -I think the Spurs record at home 45-5 outright this year is significent, also 12-2 ATS against the better teams seems to be worth consideration. I don't pay a lot of attention to other trends: eg. DETROIT is 14-5 UNDER (+8.5 Units) after a combined score of 165 points or less this season. The average score was DETROIT 88.9, OPPONENT 81.6.

So I guess the answer to your questions is it depends on the trend.

Best +2.20, worst +1.75. Average +1.95. Already hedged with Motown +5.80. So like Illinois vs. NC, I got a free ride. Just hope for better results.

So you're one of the few on here that believes in hedging when there is guaranteed money to be made, and IF the situation is right..........?

I am one of the minorities there. It's OK, some believe in it, some don't. At worst I like to position myself in a can't lose spot. Break even, or take it all, less the insurance hedge. In this case my insurance was +5.80, but I sacrificed some strong +2.00 on the Spurs. We were mutual helpers there. Sometimes, like last years WS I had both teams, equal net either outcome. But that was with multiple early futures. I had the Spurs only, and all along, waiting for Finals. But why gamble. I make a buck if the Motowners step up. I do very well if Spurs win. Maybe I gave away my Spurs future value with hedge, and trade, but that is how I work. My opinion, it is what makes you comfortable. I am comfortable not having a chance to lose at this juncture.

I am exactly the same OM.........

Perfect example in which I had grabbed Phoenix early on at 33-1. Hedged as I should of because I never expected the Suns to make it past San Antonio to begin with. Detroit would be a much better payoff though if they could pull it off.......

The year long stat is not as relevent to me except to show SA has been an elite team all year, so they can beat the Clippers and Hawks And Lakers all year. But they have already lost 2 home games in the first couple rounds. The 12-2 against 'better teams' I like.

Detroit's lousy history at SA I thought is an obvious factor since Spurs have home court. And Spurs are 7-1 since Ginobili got back in the starting lineup and is averaging 35+ min

I think Spurs are in about a 70% spot up 1-0 with home court

If I have a live 33-1 #1 seed, I hope like hell they make conf finals and then take finals opponent back. Good earn there. Spurs never had a good price this season, unlike others. I was wavering because of Timmy's ankles, but pulled the trigger figuring he was a go no matter what. But +1.95 nothing to brag about. Last year I had #1 seed Minny at 17-1. They stunk it up also. But I still earned. Bear in mind, if it goes to an elimination game vs. Motown, and they are getting points, like say a game #6, I can take the points, could be 6 or 7, and hope for a Motown win, and do it again game #7, still in San Antone, and hope for a cover but no win. I have done that and series results before and collected a lot of bets from one original position.

Best Wishes...oF:howdy:
