Washington traded Ohka to the Brewers for Junior Spivey. Not sure if it has already been posted or not. Ohka was supposed to start tonight, so some may wish to adjust their plays accordingly.

Never trade a decent starter for an average position player.

I agree, I hate this trade.
They just traded their #3/#4 pitcher for a backup. It was a desparate move because they have nobody to play second, and an overreaction to Baerga's error last night.

An everyday player is worth more than a starting pitcher. Probably an even trade for both teams.

im a quiet brewer fan (due to the double A team here), seems they get a quality starter, not to much of a difference in this trade...

Ohka has been solid lately(lone exception being his last start), but they sorely needed infield depth. Hopefully Spivey can show a pulse. Brewers were doing anything and everything to get rid of him so they can promote Weeks from the minors; the guy's gonna be a stud and he's ready.

Sunny Kim should fill in well, though. He's finally healthy and looked good his last time out. But we'll see, I suppose.
