These are 2 of my 3 favorite teams in college baseball, Nebraska being the other one. I used to live in Tempe and Lincoln and I used to work near Fullerton.

I can understand Fullerton being the big favorite at home but I'm thinking ASU can take one in Tempe and they ought to be the dog even there. I'm thinking it could be a good bet.

I was watching the game, there is no way in hell that was a balk, same thing with officials these days, they would rather make a call to win or lose the game rather then let the players decide these games....Im not saying AZ was gunna win by any means but just let the players decide the game...there is a report about the game on espn that the home plate ump called it because the pitcher didnt pause, but that is not what happened, the 3rd base ump called a balk and everyone in the stadium has no clue what was going on but him....seriously you gunna call a balk on an intentional walk that loads the bases in the bottom of the ninth....Give me break...worst call ive seen in 10 years easily!!!!

It's like calling a touch foul in basketball with the game tied and 10 seconds left. You just don't see it at the NBA level any way.

I saw the replay on ESPN2 during the game and it was not a balk. However, the local news played it and it appeared as though he bounced his hands when he brought them down. I don't know why one camera would show a pause and the other wouldn't.

BINGO!

i was there and like everyone else had NO CLUE what happened until i saw Danny Dorn coming down the line with the winning run. NONE of us knew what happened and then why it was called

GO TITANS - but a TERRIBLE call - and i agree - one of the worst i have seen in some time

HOWVER

a HUGE part of the blame goes to ASU - for in B9 - they have their 3B playing in on the grass against our #4 hitter - someone who had NO THOUGHT of bunting - and the 3B should have been in normal position and he might get the lead-off 2B. then a bunt of ours bounces sky high off the plate and the guys legs it out. then the pitcher tries to pick the guy off first - despite the fact the runner was no more than 5 feet from the bag - and throws it away.

just a poor job of coaching by Pat Murphy - one of the worst "clutch" coaches out there - and someone who might soon be looking for a new job

blame the ump for the balk call - but blame AS-what for giving this one away LONG before that

Did anyone catch the line on this game (Saturday)?

-400/-425 it shows on DB. Makes for an interesting game 3, I suppose Fullerton will be a very strong choice again tomorrow, might have to slightly hedge off my Fullerton series bet, who knows.

Thanks Tom. I kick myself for not taking ASU yesterday.

Fullerton is at -305 for Sunday's game.

btw-I love the Leykis show on 97.1.

Yeah, I should've played ASU based on value alone seeing how close the Friday game was.

Boys Night Out this Friday at the Wiltern.
