My own experience is heavy hitters are wary of Boxing, why take a chance on a fix when you can bet Federer at the same price. This leaves the Books with a one horse book, although most I knew would hedge out unless they had an opinion, the differing prices offered would suggest this to be the case.
Anyways congratulations to you and the others who took the plunge.:103631605 :103631605

I think the books had to take a huge hit on this fight. I could tell by comments that there were plenty of posters here who thought Tyson would put Mcbride away easily but I didn't hear from any that were willing to pay the price. I think there were lots of winning tickets at + 650 and above. I got + 672 ! Tyson has been a cash cow for me !

Books LIMIT the size of the wager for fights such as this one. Although they lost, I don't believe it was huge...

Also, put yourself in their shoes...

If you were a BM, would you put yourself in a position to get KILLED if Tyson were not to win as a 6-1 favorite?!

Of course not...
