Mods I was hoping you could run a check on the IP's of myself, AFLGuru, Budworth22, and the now banned Brownsfan31, now from our most recent locations if at all possible. About 3 or 4 months ago news was let out that we all posted from the same IP address and even after we explained that we all shared an apartment with wired Ethernet and thus had the same IP address. However some posters did not believe us and I would just like the chance to prove thar we are in fact all different people. I was the one who also used the alias Brownsfan31, but like I said, that was just to mess with Guru....something that had tremendous repercussions. For 6 weeks, I've been posting from a little town outside of Jacksonville, FL, Budworth22 has only recently started posting again and from his non-school address, and AFLGuru has posted between his home and our apartment in Tallahassee. Thanks for checking, if there are still doubts I will give you my phone number at anytime to explain it all.

Hines - I will tell you what I can do

I did an IP search from the one you just posted this thread from and it resulted in no matches other than yourself. As far as I am concerned there are no other posters matching your IP.

Thank you wil, thats all I wanted one of the mods to do. A few posters recently brought up what happened a few months ago and were still sold that the 3 of us were all the same poster. Just wanted to get it all cleared up before we all go back to Tally in August because once soccer, hockey, and football, come around again I will post quite frequently. Thanks again.

God I wish I were Hines Ward. My favorite Steeler since Lightning Rod was in the Black and Gold. I am ready for this season but I just get the feeling that this wont be the Steelers year. We will win 9 or 10 games (my bet is on 10), but I don't think we can make it to the conference championship game. The CB situation still has not been resolved (I like Townsend, but someone else needs to step up either Colclough or McFadden). Ike Taylor has proven that he doesn't have what it takes and even though Willie Williams put forth a valiant effort last year, he is a VERY short-term fix. The Linebackers are still studly, we will NOT regret letting Kendrell "I sprained something else" Bell go. Larry Foote fits in great with the system. Farrior and Porter are studs and Haggans was great last year. On the D-Line, Aaron Smith is one of the most underrated DE's in the game, and von Oelhoffen does a great job as well. We also get Casey Hampton back from his injury last season.....the 2nd best nose in the league (next to Jenkins). As for the offense, this is where my worries are. The interior line is great with Faneca, Hartings, and Simmons (coming back from injury as well). However, the OT's are still question marks. Marvel Smith making the Pro Bowl was an absolute joke last year as much as it burns me to say it. Guy can't pass block to save his life. We lost Ross so Max Starks steps in and it's up in the air how he'll do, he has a great mind for the game but...we'll see. I loved Heath Miller in college and thought he would always turn out to be better than Winslow JR. (compare the stats that they put up against FSU). Just hard to imagine Pittsburgh using a tight end to do something more than block however. At WR, Ward is the 5th best receiver in the game but someone else has to step up. I don;t think either Wilson or Gibson has what it takes to step up though, Mays is to slow to be a #2, and Randle El is too small. In regards to RB, i think they should use Willie Parker more. He's the only guy with any speed in that backfield and I don't think the Bus has much left in the tank. I think Willie and Duce should split carries while Jerome is used in short-yardage situations. And finally......at QB, how can you do better than 13-0 in the regular season last year? An absolutely amazing year by Big Ben, but he has to come down to earth, I still think he'll be the best QB out of that draft (something I said before the Steelers even drafted him). But he needs to work on a few things with Whisenhunt. To me it looks like a 10-win season where we're neck and neck with Baltimore the whole way in the hunt for the AFC North crown.
