Would you like to see the NFL utilize 2 point conversions only, after a Touchdown?

If the league did away with the regular 1 point PAT and adopted a 2 point conversion only, do you think the game would be better or more boring?

Thanks

I wouldn't like it. This would mess up a lot of middles/side attempts, leave it as is(for wagering purposes).

Now as far as the game itself goes, they should do away with the PAT and do what you're suggesting(2pt. conversion). The game would be a little more exciting that way.

bad idea. Pro sports should be all about the gimmick. Its one thing to have it allowed as an option, but its another to do away with the PAT all together.

Are we that bored as a society that everything has to be "extreme"?

I see your point Prime, but to you throwing a ball 3 yrds for 2 points is "EXTREME" thing :icon_conf

No! Wouldn't be better. Wouldn't be boring either. With both 1 and 2 point conversions currently available, many of the NFL coaches go for 2 way too early IMHO putting themselves in catch-up mode throughout the game. Would much rather see the game go back to 1 point conversion only.

I think I would like it better without the 1 pointer and I would definately like to see a different OT rule. As in college would be interesting.

College definatly needs to change OT. It still stinks. It's like a whole different game.

I wouldn't like it General.....

What I would like and think would make the game Unbelievably exciting is if they came up with a way in which one side of the ball, the offense or defense, would be outmanned due to numerous penalties, kind of like hockey. For example, it a team commits more than 3-5 penalties in one quarter, then they lose one man for so many minutes on one side of the ball. Wouldn't it be great to see if a defense could hold off an 11 man offense with only 10 guys? Or what a slap in the face it would be sometimes if we saw, the Colts for example, still drive 80 yards with only 10 guys on their offense vs. a full 11 man defense. I can guarantee you one thing. Coaches would be spending MUCH more time on the working with penalties with their teams in the offseason!
